Best Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400 MXF to FCP X Converter

As far as I know, it is impossible to download older versions of FCP X from Apple, which is annoying in cases like this. Until Apple fixes this the only solution is to somehow transcode the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400 MXF footage to another format (e.g. Apple ProRes Codec ) that FCP X will handle well.

How to transcode Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400 MXF footage to ProRes for FCP X editing?
To transcode Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400 MXF video files to ProRes, do as below:
