Editing DxO One XDCAM media with Final Cut Pro X
For a fast and fluid workflow between DxO One XDCAM footage and FCP X, sometimes you need to encode DxO One XDCAM video files to ProRes codec before you start editing. You need to install additional software to import DxO One XDCAM media into Final Cut Pro X. If you use Final Cut Pro X version 10.2 or later, you need to verify that Pro Video Formats is installed on your system before importing DxO One XDCAM media. If you use Final Cut Pro X version 10.1.4 or earlier, you need to verify that Pro Video Formats and the Sony XAVC/XDCAM Plug-in for Apple are installed on your system. Step 2: Click "Profile" to select "Final Cut Pro" > "Apple ProRes 422 (*.mov)" as output format. Apple ProRes is FCP X's favorite editing codec, which FCP X will recognize and handle well.

Tips: If necessary, you can click "Settings" button to modify video and audio parameters like encoder, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, aspect ratio, sample rate, and audio channels. You can also "enable 3D Settings" to add 3D effect to your source media.

Step 3: Click "Convert" to start DxO One XDCAM files to ProRes conversion. As soon as the conversion is complete, click "Open Folder" to get the generated Apple ProRes files for editing in FCP X with optimum performance.
